David Ryan
Director
David’s career in construction began in Canberra in 1979.
Working as a ‘jack of all trades’ on numerous construction sites in and around the ACT.
In 1985 he bought his first house which he extensively renovated and extended. He continued his passion renovating and extending many homes throughout the 90’s, whilst operating a CSR Readymix Concrete Cartage Business. He found he had an eye for structure, design and detail as much as being pedantic. After the birth of his daughter, motivated with his dreams to build professionally, he worked towards earning his Builders Licence. From 2000, he has traded professionally as Wombat Hillton Pty Ltd. David’s flare is in designing and building New Homes. His signature home that he designed and built was completed in 2010 which is featured in the 2010 MBA Builders Awards and Magazine.
Kayla Paton
Office Manager
Kayla does a little bit of everything at David Ryan Homes, such as keeping our office on the right track and making sure we’re delivering consistent service. We’re so lucky to have Kayla on our team!
Elvie Ryan
Sales & Marketing Manager
Born and bred in Canberra, Elvie grew up in Narrabundah and Woden Valley. Self driven and motivated, she strives for success in everything she does. Always labelled the creative member of the family, Elvie is a qualified Interior Decorator with a soft spot for good design and an eye for potential.
Elvie has spent a lot of her life in and around the construction industry; growing up watching David Ryan and spending school holidays on building sites, she listened and observed. In 2015, Elvie moved into the family business as a Contractor Administrator and Colour Consultant developing industry contacts and knowledge on the Weston Creek and Woden Valley property market.
As an experienced sales consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry, Elvie is skilled in; sales, retail, marketing, communication, business development and property management. As a strong sales representative and an excellent customer service professional, Elvie is results driven.
Brue Ryan
Foreman
With 16 years of experience as a foreman, Brue is passionate about overseeing your building projects. She is well-versed in keeping the tradesman in check and protecting materials onsite.
